𝙻𝚎𝚝’𝚜 𝚐𝚘 𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚎𝚊𝚌𝚑 𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢 𝚠𝚎𝚎𝚔 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚒𝚛 𝚍𝚒𝚏𝚏𝚎𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚌𝚎𝚜, 𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚕 𝚠𝚎?
Actor’s Access and Breakdown Express are both services that are part of the parent company, Breakdown Services.
The primary difference between Actor’s Access and Breakdown Express is that Actor’s Access breakdowns go directly to the actors only.
Actors are able to self submit to projects themselves, which is especially helpful for actors who are not yet represented.
Breakdown Express uses the same functionality as Actor’s Access but those Breakdowns only go to agents/managers.
Most TV shows, studio films and bigger budgeted projects are only released on Breakdown Express.
However, many projects are released on Actor’s Access and Breakdown for lower budgeted projects and also certain projects that require a wider search.
Your profile on Actor’s Access and Breakdown Express (via your agent/manager) can be similar or different in terms of what materials you choose to post.
If you have any questions or concerns about what materials your reps have for you on their profile, it’s always best to bring these up during check-in meetings/conversations.
